« on: July 13, 2012, 05:08:39 PM »
I have a customer with a mitel 5000 that has a problem with the calls being transferred to hunt group 2002 and the system announces that the call is being transferred to 2002. The hunt group is set to announcement none. Where do I turn off the can message that the call is being transferred to?...  Thanks guys

Hi,

Try to create a mailbox for this hunt group. Next, configure the parameter "Auto Attendant Transfer Prompt" to "No" in the mailbox options.

Hope that helps!

Or something even more simple. You can add your hunt group to Voice Processor -> Devices -> Extension IDs and set "Auto Attendant Transfer Prompt" to "No" if this hunt group doesn't need a mailbox.

The correct way to do this for a hunt group that doesn't have a mailbox is create an Extension ID for the hunt group, then go into that ExID and change Auto Attendant Transfer Prompt to No... that will take care of the AA transfer prompt.
