MSL UCA 3.2 - ServiceLink upgrade failed
« on: March 31, 2011, 12:45:24 PM »
Hi,

I got a SML Server 9.1.19.0 with the UCA 3.2 blade and was trying to perform an upgrade of the ServiceLink blade on this server.   The version currenly installed is V9.1.19.0 and an upgrade to V9.2.22.0 is available.
After downloading all the necesary packages it starts to check for dependencies and that's the point were the upgrade fails.   It's showing me the following dependency errors:

There are package conflicts with the ServiceLink V9.2 blade
error: Failed dependencies:
libMiLibG4.so.7.15 is needed by (installed) mitel-mitai-13.1.2.12-01.i386
libMiSSLG4.so.7.15 is needed by (installed) mitel-mitai-13.1.2.12-01.i386
libMnLibG4.so.7.15 is needed by (installed) mitel-mitai-13.1.2.12-01.i386

Does anyone know how to fix this so I can complete the upgrade of the ServiceLink blade?

Thanks,
Sven

I don't have any similar server to check for you, but have you looked at the upgrade/release information on both the MSL and the UCA blade to see the recommendations?  Typically Mitel is very good at letting you know what the upgrade process is....

I don't think you can run UCA 3.2 on MSL 9.2. If you want to upgrade to 4.0, you have to upgrade the UCA blade first then the MSL blade.

The release notes will tell you. If so, have you got software assurance?
