ACD Group to a RAD
« on: March 24, 2011, 12:41:20 PM »
Hey guys - having a bit of a problem....

I have an ACD group that has 4 members. 3 of the members are almost Never present, so that leaves one ACD member to be logged in. This user does not want to have a Voicemail. When he is logged in, the group works fine.

When he logs out, any calls to this number hit an empty line which ends the call. I currently have the "Path unavailable Answer Point Directory Number" pointing to a know working RAD. But, instead of playing the RAD, the call just cuts off when noone is logged into the group.

Here are my settings for the RAD (RAD is on ext 4015)

Allow Overflow to Interflow Before Time Out       Yes
Path Unavailable Answer Point Directory Number       4015
Path Real Time Events Enabled       Yes
Interflow To This Path Uses This Path Priority       No
DTMF Receiver Unavailable Action       Play RAD
DTMF Receiver Unavailable Answer Point Directory Number

Any ideas? Am I not able to have an overflow point directly to a RAD?

As always, thanks!

From the docs

When a path is unavailable, calls can be routed to a path unavailable answer point. The path unavailable answer point can be:

I had it in a hunt group, the Hunt Group was set as 4015...I think I did figure out my problem though.

It seems as if the 4015 RAD was empty. Which is strange, because it DID have a message on it recently (I even called it several times before to check it, and it worked.)

But today I call it and it just cuts out.

So, I guess everything is working, just strange that a RAD would clear out like that!

Thank you for the help!
