Very new to Mitel

Hi there,

I recently aquired a mitel 3300 from a company who went bust.  Basically we have 12 IP phones (5330) and a 3300 CXi controller.

I do not currently have any licenses for it, but am buying some soon.  The system has been factory reset and i've gotten as far as logging onto the console.

Question is, to program this system do i need to install licenses on it first?  I also do not have any software, where can i get these also? (the programming software)

I think you're going to have to work with a dealer to get what you're looking for.
You need to license the system before you can program any phones.   Which means a dealer will have to set you up with an AMC record with Mitel.
The dealer can then get you any software you need.

Thankyou very much for the information Ralph.  I am buying licenses from a dealer in the next few days so will hold off programming this system until then.
