Adding Analog to Directory Numbers
« on: February 25, 2011, 05:45:57 PM »
Hello everyone,

I am newly acquainted to Mitel 3300 ICP and asking for a "How to."
We have an analog block which we have dozens of extra lines for.  How would I go about configuring the PBX to see one of those lines, so we can use that line as a direct line for one of our management? Example:  We have a number XXX-5555, and so-and-so wants this number as a direct line to their phone extension, but that 5555 number is on the analog block.

Any help is appreciated.

Using web interface 7.1.5.13 System Administrator

That is a really old version of code, but you should be able to do this.

 - Create a new trunk service assignment with the Answer Points set to the managers extension
 - In Analog Trunk Assignment set the Trunk Service Assignment to the new number defined above.
 - You may want to remove that analog trunk from the trunk group it is in to prevent people from getting that line on outbound calls.

Should work....
