5324 Conference call query
« on: February 11, 2011, 11:16:27 AM »
Hi,

I have a 5324 handset connected to a conference module in one of our meeting rooms. I plan on having a 3 way conference call with our site and 2 others. Can this be done? The 5324 has a single direct line number? But wondered on how it worked say 1 to 1 would work fine but if a 3rd site wanted to join i'd expect it to show as line busy?
Would be really grateful for information on what is required or how about's this is setup?

Thanks in advance

Antony

The 5324 will have to call the 3rd party and add them in.

Else....
If you absolutely need to be able to accept a call from a 3rd person.
Add a second line, forward on a busy to it.   Then when the call comes in, you answer, press xfer conf button, dial the remote hold pickup code of the original line, then hit the conf button again.

Easier just to initiate the call.

I'm pretty sure you could do this if you had a multicall of the phones prime line as well.  Can't remember the exact keys but had to do with options available in softkeys.
