Upgrade 3300 using SI and win 7

Can someone tell me if they have had issues with upgrading a 3300 using SI tool. I know FTP is off by default in 7. The reason for the question is i am contemplating upgrading my OS to win 7 and want to ensure i have no problems upgrading etc

Been doing it now for 6+ months, and haven't had any issues really. The thing with Win 7, is the save with Vistia, is that the Mitel installer won't detect the FTP service, so you have to pay attention to where it unzip's the files to. I let it unzip to its choice location, and then direct the FTP directory away from inetpub, and to the installer's choose location.

  I tend to leave windows FTP off and use Filezilla server.  Works well and give a nicer interface for configuring...

I thought I had heard there was a patch you had to get from Mitel Tech support.
I know one of my techs put together a video on how to set up Win 7 to use with SI.  Perhaps I can talk him into sharing.

Ralph, that would be much appreciated. I will dig around and see if i can get the patch from Mitel tech support. I would rather stick with the windows FTP service. Ive used the file zilla FTP server before and its ideal but i have just partitioned  mac book pro and installed 7 so have limited HDD space. If i need to use filezilla then so be it, but if you could get me the vid that would be spot on.
