MiTai Test Tool
« on: January 05, 2011, 02:19:56 PM »
Did anyone have a problem with the MiTai test tool - when logged on as local administrator, the tool works and connects to the phone system. Under any other user (even if the user is a member of the local administrators group), the tool fails to connect to the phone system. The OS is Windows 7 professional, 32 bit.

When you are logged on as a user can you do a run as administrator and see if it works?

Under "Run As Administrator" it does run and connect. The original problem showed with my ActiveX control I created using the MiTai SDK. I checked the test tool and saw that the error is the same.

Try installing the program under a different directory.

I am assuming it installed under the c:\program files x86\ directory

Try installing it under c:\mitel or something like it.
