Clustered ACD
« on: January 17, 2011, 01:43:06 PM »
I have a site with 2 MXes with users and a Media Gateway. There are ACD users on each of the user 3300s and I have to revamp the ACD Agent Ids. Do I need to program the ACD IDs for each controller or can I program all of them and let SDS move them to the RDN of the second controller? I would assume this would work since the Hot Desking works this way. If not I have to split them and hope people don't move around too much.

Controllers are running MCD 4.2.

Just program them on the primary node and let SDS populate the remote directory field.

That part works, but when someone on the secondary controller tries to login they get "not allowed." Could there be something in ARS that would need to be added/changed? Maybe something for the Feature DN?

do you mean someone who's DN's primary controller is not the one they are trying to log into? Are these ACD Hotedesk agents?

I would like to be able to have all of the Agent IDs on controller 1, users may be on controller 1 or 2. I guess I should look into the hotdesk ACD option.
