Voicemail - listen to newest message first?
« on: March 06, 2023, 10:45:30 AM »
We have someone that recently left the company and used the VM to e-mail feature, which also saved all of his messages on the VM mailbox. We want to be able to check the newest messages without deleting or having to go through the other 90 messages each time. Is there an easy way to check the newest messages first and go backwards?

Thanks.

Rishi,

There is not a way to do this within the TUI [Telephone User Interface] that I know of.

There are however a couple of things I have done before for customers.

Download the mailbox in question and convert the messages from G.726 to something else.

Forward the messages to another mailbox that has Unified Messaging and get them as an attachment.

Thanks,

TE
