default destination for incoming calls
« on: February 28, 2023, 01:52:50 PM »
hi everyone,
i have a mitel 3300 with a pri line
i have configured  DIDs , then for exemple the external number 055 8080399 is forwared to the extension 399,
055 8080390 is forwarded to 390 etc...
the question is how can i forward all the externals numbers that not match any extension ,to a specific extension (the same for all) without writing them one by one in did service form.
thanks for help

You can use Intercept Handling to do this. Set up a new Intercept number (1 is the default, so start at 2), and change the "Unassigned Directory Number - Directory Number" option to where you want those calls to ring. You'll also have to set the "Unassigned Directory Number - Tone" field to blank.

Then, go into Trunk Attributes and change the Intercept Number assigned to your PRI to the Intercept Handling number you just set up. Any call that comes in on the PRI flagged for a number that does not exist should now ring at the destination DN you specified.
