Do you have the raid controller in the 3300?

Attached is the procedure from the THB.

Are you asking about raid or just formatting a new disk and loading software on it?

I have RAID controller and second HD also, now the system is running with 1 HD, so i am planning to Install second HD to the system. The attachement is interesting...... So will data load to new HD if i follow below mentioned procedure? or do i have to install data into second HD seperatly?

"11. To copy data onto the new drive, press and hold down the Mirror Cntrl
button of the new hard drive for between 6 and 10 seconds and then
release. Release the button when the Access LED starts flashing twice
per second."

Follow the directions on the PDF I posted earlier and everything should work just fine. This will take about four hours to complete so be patient.

one thing to note is that the system WILL operate and process calls normally while the drive copying takes place....
