Call flow question/solution

Current build is 22.19.7900.0.

I want to pickup a phone on the system and have it ring a hunt group, that first rings a cell phone and then after four rings, ring an internal extension. I tried using a hunt group with a route point first (that calls the cell) and then an internal extension. It doesn't ring the cell at all, it goes right to the internal extension. I tried using a work group, with the same results. I did get it to work if I create a phantom extension, using connect client to ring the cell. This works but I was wondering if there is a better way. Thanks for all feedback.

Calls to Hunt Group or Workgroup do not follow call forwarding of members. The best way to overcome this restriction is to put the corresponding user on External Assignment with the external/mobile number. If there is none, you have to add a user specifically for this.
