Is there any way to suppress the CESID assignment messages in the logs on 6.3 SP7?

acejavelin,

I am not sure as we don't install new MiVO-250's anymore, but do you have extended message print turned on?

Most likely they haven't thought to provide a way to remove that from the logs, but if they did I would think it would be under Maintenance; if I had to guess.

Maybe it is because you have the CESID Assignment set to Automatic under the phones; try Emergency CPN if you don't want it to be auto assigned.

Thanks,

TE

Yeah, the CESID assignment type doesn't matter, you just get a different message in the logs related to that mode.

It's not that big of a deal, was just trying to troubleshoot an issue with a system and if I could remove those it would make parsing the file a lot easier, luckily this system is fairly small but I could see with a larger system this could get quite annoying.

acejavelin,

Ah, yes, that would make it more difficult to get through on a large system with a lot of entries.

Does this happen after every day or just on a soft reset?

Thanks,

TE

All day... There are days where are hundreds of these entries...
