Micollab cant communicate with ldap server ( server unavailable)
« on: February 16, 2022, 11:50:12 AM »
Hey guys,
I have micollab deployed in my organization and its working just fine. I've had a a project to decommission the old active directory servers and replace with new ones.
For some reason when i'm changing the micollab server to access the new active directory servers im getting the following:
Code: [Select]
failed to contact server(s) - due to either network issue between micollab and server or unsecured connection setting on micollab when server is configured for secured connection
What could be missing and changed between the new and old active directory. I have other services communicating with these new servers just fine.
FW is completely open between micollab and AD for these tests.

LDAPS is enabled on the DC? That's usually not enabled by default.

I'm using LDAP over starttls is that also supposed to be set up on a new DC? I've looked online found guides for ldap over SSL is that supposed to be the same?
Is the setup more than a self signed certificate?
