Mitel MiVoice with Microsoft Teams integration
« on: September 19, 2021, 02:00:57 PM »
Dear Guys,

Our company now subscribed with Microsoft 365 for all our users and I'm looking for a simple way to integrate our Mitel 3300 with MS Teams.

We have already Skype for Business 2019 On-Premise "locally" and working fine with our Mitel 3300.

So, Kindly help me for a good and easy documentation for this integration without any 3rd party solutions.

Thanks

no choice , you need a 3rd party like Call2teams or Audiocode.

You need micollab server to use sky for business instead of micollab softphone

I have about 20 users on Callto365, similar integration as Call 2 teams. The integration is via MBG, and each user will be configured as a generic SIP phone. The "Call to" service is a cloud based man in the middle, handling the call between Teams and Mitel. It actually works quite well. Call to 365 also has a trunk option, which I am curious about configuring as a SIP trunk to the Mitel PBX, via MBG,  in hopes that I can use the Mitel as a trunk gateway to access local PSTN. You will require subscription to E3 and phone system license add-ons or E5. I just recently enabled call queues and was able to leverage call to 365 to route inbound PSTN calls into a Teams call queue as well as a Teams attendant. Pretty slick.

Good to know - looking in to Call2Teams now. With hybrid work not going anywhere this will probably start becoming more and more prevalent.
