layer 2 switch IP address

GREETINGS,
i have i problem in my network, my core sw given me a duplicate ip whitch i find that the layer 2 sw in the mitle 3300 have the same ip address of the vlan interface in my lan should i change the ip address for layer 2 sw inside mitle?, and whats is the function that this built-in sw in the PBX

Yes, change the IP address of the switch to a static IP outside of the DHCP range but within the subnet.

You will never use this IP address for anything, but it needs to be there... It is for the switch embedded in the controller.
