Updated UVM setup for Office365?
« on: May 13, 2021, 11:25:58 AM »
Anyone have updated instructions on settings up UVM Enhanced Integration to Office365? The last documentation I can find is from 2015 and the O365 side of the setup looks completely different. Have a customer that switched from G-Suite to O365 and needs to get Enhanced Integration working.

lundah,

They haven't updated that document since 6.1 (2015), but the information you need to know is still good. Unfortunately, it will be up to the customer to make sure they perform the necessary steps on the O365 side.

I know they can call in and get help with getting it setup as that is what most of our customers have had to do.

Sorry,

TE

After scouring KMS and Infochannel, I was able to track down some helpful troubleshooting info. In particular, using AVDAPMON was helpful in troubleshooting the IMAP link. For the specific customer I was fighting with on this, they had MFA enabled on O365, so we had to have the users set up an app password for the 250 to use to access the mailbox.

lundah,

Multifactor authentication has been a requirement for awhile now as O365 as well as Google as they don't allow for anonymous e-mails.

Thanks,

TE
