The Mitel 5000
« on: December 29, 2009, 05:41:49 PM »
I'll be the first to admit, I know little to nothing about the Intertel 5000 series switch.  That said, ralph wisely suggested that we add a forum here as it is now a fairly large part of Mitel's portfolio.

  Hope it is useful!

WhooHoo...  Finally!

I've installed several 5000's this past month and am learning quite abit.  I hope to learn more from here and if I can contribute then I'd be more than happy to.

Installed our second networked 5000 this weekend.  These puppies are so much easier to integrate than Toshiba'a it ain't funny.  Two 5200's with two PC attd consoles. A pain point is the 10 station speed dial limit.  Toshiba goes up to 100 and we need it.  Oh well, UCExpress to the rescue.

First time setting up a CTI-gateway with Mitel and found out "again" that Mitel SE's are not always on point. ARGH!
