« on: July 04, 2023, 11:13:05 AM »
hello everyone, i am trying to convert a SIP firmware to MINET on a 6920 IP phone.i tried to load the minet firware to the phone using Tftpd64 but i keep getting upgrade failed on the phone UI. the SIP firmware is "6.3.0.1020" and i have copied the MINET st file  from a CXI-II with release level 8.0 software. this is what i get on my TFTP Log Viewer.

Read request for file <MINET_6920-enc.st>. Mode octet [04/07 10:42:45.453]
OACK: <tsize=32375787,blksize=8192,timeout=2,> [04/07 10:42:45.457]
Using local port 58312 [04/07 10:42:45.457]
TIMEOUT waiting for Ack block #2  [04/07 10:42:55.510]

I just had to do this on MiVB 9.x for a 6920 handset.

1. Plugged in phone and let it get an address.
2.  Logged into web portal (via IP) and logged in with default SIP Credentials
3.  Selected "Firmware Update" towards the bottom on the left.
4.  Set the filename as MINET_6920-enc.st
5.  Method is TFTP
6.  Set the IP of your MiVB instance.
7.  Click the button (I don't recall if it was "save" or "update firmware"

This was quick and did not need to do more than one TFTP transaction.
