How to park and pickup parked calls using MiCollab 9.2.104
« on: December 14, 2020, 10:58:04 AM »
I have FAC setup for Call Park *8 and Call Pickup *9 but unable to get this to work. Also say I get a call parked in Micollab, is there a way to see what line it is on so I can tell others they have a call on line 27 per say? When you do this on a physical phone it comes up on screen showing you what line it is on.  Any help here is much appreciated

1- create a user "park" with extension 50*600 (example)  = device type 5020ip

2- in call handling -> call park :

default paging type : direct paging
default number : 50*600
call park timeout : recall the parker

3-in the COS of users :

call park timer : 600 (example)
call park-allowed to park : yes

 4- create 2 keys for users :

key 1 :  line type (call park) - button directory number : 50*600
key 2 : line type (call park-Retrieve - button directory number : 50*600

when you receive a call , press the 1st key you will see 50*600@XX

xx = the position ( 27 for example)

to Retrieve you call , press Key 2 then dial the position xx ( 27 in our example)

You have 600 seconds to retrieve your call , if not the phone will ring again.

I can't do better :-)

For Micollab : use the park and retrieve park FAC

So I have this exact method setup currently except I use 3500 instead of 50*600 for Call Park Call Pickup. This works great on the physical phone. When I park a call in Micollab with FAC *8 plus 3500 the issue I run into is MiCollab does not show me line i parked on like I would see on the physical phone screen. Also I have yet been able to pick up a parked call in MiCollab. I put in FAC *9 plus 3500plus 52(line call would be on) but unable to retrieve. Any ideas here?

I know I am able to park as I did this through MiCollab in office at my desk and it showed me on my physical phone what line I parked call on and played hold music like it should. I just could not figure out how to get it to show me this information in Micollab.
