Greetings Question! Not an Issues...
« on: October 01, 2008, 12:48:51 PM »
Hi all!

I need to change the greetings on my ICP-3300...

In the "System Audio Files Update" form I can change the "Auto Attendant Greeting". So I can select Primary or Alternate 2.. 3.. etc...
If I want to change the greeting, I should know what saying each one....

The question is:

How can I listen (or downloading) the audio files for to know what they are saying???

Thanks in advance!

The only way I know how to do it is to change the system to play the different options and then call the pilot number and listen.  If you get desperate and want more info on the hard way let me know.

I'd be interested on how to do it the "hard way".
I FTP'ed into one of our systems to try and figure it out.  Was able to find the VOX files but unable to play them.

Point a line or DID number to the voicemail, then call it, put it in night service and call it again. Not elegant, but it works. If you use an ONS ext looped back to a LS trunk port, turn off the Caller ID to the ONS port or it will try to go to that ext's voicemail box.

Will let you hear exactly what an incoming caller will hear.
