API to see present/absent status of ring group members

Is there an API so that i can offer people the ability to check for themselves if they are Present/Absent in a ring group or Personal ring group?

I wouldn't even know if there actually is a CLI command with which you can view this status, other than checking it out via the GUI.

Sorry sunspark i forgot to add that the users are working remotely and are connected via external hotdesking/personal ring groups to the ring group. They can dial a number with a FAC to log themselves in remotely via their mobile to their personal ring group and then make themselves available in the ring group in which they participate, but they can not see their present/absent status in their personal ring group/ring group.

Is there a way?

As far as i can tell, i can not give a user viewing rights into the PBX without them having extra options to cause damage to the system.

I also can not find a maintenance command that displays presence, and i wouldn't even know how to address this command via an API (if it even exists).

I m not sure but you can make a test, try to create group present key even if your users work remotely, to join or leave the group. Depending also your phones ( 69xx when u join the group = bleu key, when you leave = grey)
