The directory number already exists
« on: April 04, 2019, 12:35:49 PM »
I'm trying to add a new phone to my system.  It's going to be superset 4025 digital phone.  I'm trying to add it to a free PLID.  The extension I'm trying to add is currently used for a voicemail, I just want to add a phone to the users/voicemail extension.

If I run maint. command locate extension my return is  LOCATE: Non Prime extension number, which is what I believe indicates that it is a voicemail.

I'm guessing based on previous threads that the number could be used as a key somewhere else.  Is there anyway to find out where the key is programmed on other extensions?

A Non-Prime extension means it is a key appearance on a set (most likely)... Go to User's and Devices, Advanced, Multiline Appearance Groups and look for it there, then delete it.

There is no option to delete from that form.

Correct. You need to go to the button mapping for x2488 and clear (delete) key 23.

Hi Where can i find button mapping?
Go to Users and Devices, open a user, and look in the KEYS tab, or Users and Device, Advanced Configuration, Multiline Set Keys.
