modification of sound paramaters
« on: July 08, 2020, 09:33:04 AM »
Hello
i'm french

I work in helpdesk.

I have a client who has this problem below

Can you help me ?

I already tried to change the sound setting in sound setting.

I have no other idea.

My computer is equipped with several sound outputs. I have a sound output activated by default (speakers / headphones) which works very well for example with YouTube.

When I press the gear of my Micollab, I have this configuration (speakers / headphones is the correct configuration)

When I receive a call, the ringtone is on the right sound output but for the voice it always switches to another output, I have to select the right output manually.

How do I make the sound always come out through the same output?

Thank

MiCollab will use the default communications device for softphone audio input and output. MiCollab is configured by default to send ring signal to all sound devices, which is why ringing is working but softphone audio is not. Set the default communications device to what you want to use.
