Application Transfer to Extension
« on: April 07, 2020, 06:13:27 AM »
At the moment I've got a Call Routing Announcement application set up with digit translation so that callers can choose where to be directed. Whenever they choose a digit that forwards to a phantom it says 'please hold while your call is being transferred to extension XXXX'. It only seems to happen with phantoms forwarding to hunt groups and not with ones forwarding to external numbers.

I can't find the option or flag to disable this and have it transfer immediately. 'Voice Processor > Application-Related Information > Auto Attendant Information > Auto Attendant Transfer Prompt' is already set to No.

Is there a way to do this?

It's set on a per mailbox/extension basis.
If the phantom doesn't have a mailbox you need to program an extension ID for it under Voice Processor > Devices > Extension IDs
This then has the option to disable the Auto Attendant Transfer Prompt for the extension.
If it does have a mailbox it is set on a per extension basis under Voice Processor > Devices > Mailboxes

josh_marchant,

To clarify this a little more, the location that you mentioned [Voice Processor > Application-Related Information > Auto Attendant Information > Auto Attendant Transfer Prompt' is already set to No] would be if the extension the Voice Processor is transferring to doesn't have an Extension ID or a Mailbox.

If the extension you are transferring to does have an Extension ID or a Mailbox then you would need to go into that to ensure that the Auto Attendant Transfer Prompt is set to NO; by default it is YES.

Thanks,

TE
