My wireless headset keeps breaking up every couple hours
« on: April 24, 2020, 11:09:43 AM »
We're in-house using
Mitel Connect
Build 214.100.1214.0
with a Plantronics wireless headset (not sure if it's Bluetooth, I use a dongle on my PC)
Softphone only

Every couple hours I have to restart the Mitel app because the party I'm talking to can't understand me.  I have no problem hearing them.

Our primary support company says, "*shrug*."  No support ideas at all and doesn't even pretend to.

Does anyone here have suggestions on maybe a better headset or something to change on the server?  I mean, besides switching to a corded headset.  That's what I MIGHT do but obviously I'd like to stay cordless.

Thanks!

Plantronics makes great headsets... You could have a faulty headset, but it generally wouldn't start after a few hours, it would happen either more frequently or more consistently. 99% of all VoIP audio issues are network related.
