Volume issue

Hi,

I have a 5330 IP phone with Mitel Mivocie office release 6.3.7.78, I couldn't adjust the Volume for Handset tone and speaking volume from the Mivoice office 250 System Administration & Diagnostic, Anyone has any idea how?

You can’t adjust microphone or side tone volume on an IP phone, only digital phones.

But even when I tried to adjust the volume with mitel 8528 digital phone didn't work for me.

MiSam,

You're not supposed to use that to adjust the volume of your phone is why it isn't working for you. Try using the volume buttons on the phone to max it out and then go down one volume and it will save it. If you try to max it out it will not stay at that volume as it is against OSHA regulations to keep it that high so it will change it down to a lower volume; no you can't opt out of this. If you are hard of hearing or hearing impaired they do make handsets that you can adjust the volume on to resolve that problem.
