Direct call to an extension
« on: January 29, 2020, 12:36:24 PM »
Hi,

Recently moved to Micloud so have a feeling something has changed on the way we used to set this up:

Have personal assistant that’s takes all calls for the CEO(no one can technically call his number directly) and then this call is then forwarded form that number to the CEO, used to have a hot key with a number of 12*34 to get the CEOs number to ring. With Micloud I know you can no longer as * in between extensions numbers it’s done another way but for the life of me I can’t work what it is.

Any help here would greatly appreciated.

12*34 would have been a actual extension on his device.  You would not have been able to call it from the outside.
I think that number no longer exist so there must be a new number.
But he could also have is number forwarded to he assistant. If that's the case then you'd need to know what number on his phone is not forwarded.
I think the only thing you're going to be able to do here is to find out exactly what numbers are programmed on his phone and try calling each of them.
