There is 3 sites A,B,C. users in A can make a call to users of C, through B switch.
in switch B, how can manage incoming trunks from A to have/have not access to outgoing trunk to C switch ?
i think its related to COR and COR group number . But HOW?
It can be controlled with COR (Class Of Restriction). This is one of the hardest things to understand on the Mitel.
A COR set on an extension/trunk references a COR group. Each COR Group references CORS that are either allowed/not allowed (you reference CORS that are not allowed/barred, so CORS not referenced under each COR Group are allowed) if that makes sense.
Then each route out to a trunk can have a different COR Group assigned to it.
Example
COR Group 1 (set on route1 ARS digits for emergency calls)
7-96 (COR 1-6 allowed)
COR Group 2 (route2 ARS digits for local/freephone calls)
1, 7-96 (COR 2-6 allowed)
COR Group 3 (route 3 ARS digits for national calls)
1-2, 7-96 (COR 3-6 allowed)
COR Group 4 (route 4 ARS digits for mobile calls)
1-3, 7-96 (COR 4-6 allowed)
COR Group 5 (route 5 ARS digits for international calls)
1-4, 7-96 (COR 5-6 allowed)
COR Group 6 (route 6 ARS digits for premium rate calls)
1-5, 7-96 (COR 6 allowed)
So COR of 1 will only allow you access to trunk 1.
COR of 6 will allow you access to trunks 1-6.
One thing to note
System options - send travelling class marks (if your system is SDS sharing, COR set on an extension can be sent between the systems). If this is off, COR will be set on the incoming trunk.
