Using Mitel voicemail w/ Communicator 2007 as standalone softphone
« on: September 17, 2008, 09:32:43 PM »
We've working on a configuration in which some users have Mitel IP phones, and use the Live Business Gateway to integrate their OCS presence with their phone, while other users have only Communicator 2007, used as a standalone softphone.  We installed an OCS Mediation Server to facilitate this.  We have the latest version of the 3300 software (8.0 UR5?), and the only thing we can't get working at this point is connecting the Communicator 2007 users to each have Mitel 3300-based voicemail!  Has anyone tried this?  We can use all the tips we can get.  ???  We'd really prefer not to delve into using Mitel VM for IP phone users and something like Enterprise Voice just for the softphone-only users.
