While on an active call, the cx would like to press the page button to page AND place the caller on hold at the same time. When I called in from an external number and the cx pressed page, I believe I was put on hold because the call did not disconnect and the cx was able to return to my call after paging.
However 2 things are happening when they press page right away instead of pressing hold first.
1. I, the caller, did not hear any MOH which I normally hear if they press the hold button first.
2. The cx said his line button was not lit anymore which he thought meant he hung up on me.
Is there a way to have the page button put the caller on hold and page at the same time?
