Rightfax cannot send...
« on: October 25, 2018, 06:08:19 AM »
Hi All,

I have a client with a virtual RightFax server and we've just undertaken a migration to SIP.

We can receive faxes without an issue, however sending faxes is being rejected with '403 Forbidden' by the controller.

We're using Gamma SIP trunks on the controller, with T.38 enabled. The RightFax SIP trunk is enabled for Public Access in the COS.

The actual message back from the MiVB is '29h Access Barred'

Any ideas?

What does your COR look like, I think this can cause an access barred.

bigyorkshire, a customer had *exactly* this setup working. Had to enable "Suppress Use of SDP Inactive Media Streams" to prevent faxes randomly not sending. The document I followed from Rightfax was 'Mitel 3300 v5 - Configure the Mitel MCD 5.1 for use with Open Text RightFax Technical Configuration Notes.pdf'
Never did work out if the T.38 licenses were ever necessary as it was SIP-SIP.

you should put the Fax Server in a Network Zone that uses T.38
