Reflashing MiNet Firmware to 6900 phone
« on: October 15, 2018, 08:15:26 AM »
Hi all,

In order to get a 6900 series phone to work on the MiVO 250 or 400 systems, they have to be flashed with SIP firmware - no problem.

However I've been given a phone which has been flashed with the SIP firmware and need to get this back working on a MiVoice Business.

Has anyone re-flashed these back to MiNet and got any idea where to start?  :D

I believe you can just upload the MiNet firmware from the Phones WebUI.

They are stored on the MCD (under the TFTP dir) and called:
MINET_6920-enc.st
MINET_6930-enc.st
MINET_6940-enc.st

Can it be done the opposite way? The 69xx phones with the SIP firmware support Czech language however the phones with MiNet firmware do not.

I can confirm this worked. FTP's the firmware files down from the MiVB controller to my laptop. Ran tftpd and pointed the phone to my laptop using the web admin interface, flashed back to MiNet :)
