If it were me, I'd export the User and Services Configuration form, delete the remainders, add a column to concatenate with either first or last name, put in something like the latter a. Concatenate, and delete column. Import, this may take time if talking to additional system. You can then sort by name and anything beginning with this assigned value can be deleted one by one.
