Swapping a console 1000 Superset for a IP Console 5540
« on: August 09, 2018, 12:27:50 AM »
We have an MXe3300 with Peripheral SX2000 connected. We also have MCD6.
I am exchanging the old Superset 1000 Console with the Newer IP Console 5540.
I was trying to add the 5540 before I remove the SS1000 however as soon as I try to I get a message.
"Database on requested network element is in use by another application (e.g.MAC of CDE)"

Does this mean the SS100 has to be deleted before I can add the 5540?

Where you trying to print something before this happened?
You may have to go in and cancel the print.

Problem Solved.
Rebooted the Controller and then was able to program the new Console 5540.
