If there is one single common complaint I hear from customers it is no green LEDs on the digital sets...do you think Mitel will ever add that ability to the digital sets in future releases?
The quick answer would be to sell them IP sets, but there are many factors involved in many different situations and locations where that is not a viable solution...

I can't imagine that they spend and money on enhancing the 8528 or 8568 digital phones.
When we deploy them, we use Line Access Keys and Parks, instead of Line 1, Line 2, etc, because of this issue.

Sorry for the delay...
8568 and 8528 sets
Line access and parking...that is a workaround...
The recent install was a health department where I replaced an ancient comdial system that apparently had green leds on their digital sets and the customer wanted to keep the same answering flow they had.
Even if Mitel would create a different hold sequence between a call answered by receptionist A and what receptionists B, C and D sees (like the old Norstars) that would help...
