Have a second operator during the voicemail greeting
« on: July 26, 2018, 03:08:21 PM »
We would like to have clients be able to have the choice of forwarding to two different operators when they have reached a users voicemail.   So still have the 0 going to the operator but then say press 5 to go to another emergency line.  The only way I could figure it out is to have 0 go to an auto-attendant and then have 0 and 5 programmed.  Is there a way to not use the auto-attendant and have 5 programmed in the voicemail system to transfer to a number?

This is not something a mailbox can handle by itself. You would have to create a separate CRA for each user, their own separate Audiotex greeetings, and a separate System Forward Path.

If you have a handful of users (like less than 20) it shouldn't be too bad... if you have a lot of users it just isn't going to work.

Wouldn't it be easier to just make an operator hunt group that is always answered?
