Analog extensions on MiVoice 250
« on: July 23, 2018, 03:36:36 PM »
I am preparing to install a Mivoice 250 6.3 with 41 digital phones and 85 analog phones.  I can call in from outside and when the AA answers I can dial the extensions for digital phones, but any analog phone I try says invalid.  Why am I unable to reach analog phones from outside, but internal works fine?

Do they have mailboxes or extension ID's?

Some of the analog extensions have mailboxes.  They all have an extension ID, a DID, and a user built for DEE.

bvtech,

Are the Digital and Analog phones on the same numbering plan that the collected extension can support? For example you don't have the Digital phones programmed at 1xxx and the Analog as 2xxx do you? If that is the case then you would need to setup your Auto Attendant to support both 1 and 2 as collected extension in order to be able to dial both ranges.

Other than that you would need to make sure that each device that you want to dial through the Voice Processor has either a mailbox or an extension id.

Thanks,

TE
