routing DID number to Third party via internal SIP trunk

Hello,

I have an MiVB and a Fax Server and I have it working but not sure if I have set the routing of the DID number correctly or is there a simple way to do this.
I have a DID number 123456789 which in Direct Inward dialing service I send to destination number 66801.
this is a  speed call that translates 66801 to 66123456789 then routes to the Internal SIP trunk and removes the 66, sending 123456789 to the Fax server.

It works but a bit messy.

What fax server? How is it configured?

The Fax server is Xphone server and it is using SIP Trunks.
Its the routing of the call to the server which I would like advise on.
Instead of taking the DID number then translating it to a speed call the to another number then sending the original DID number, I would like to know if there is a way to send the DID number direct to the SIP trunk.

Create a route to 123456789. Point the DID Service entry to that.

It all depends upon the digit length that that fax server uses as the match. Yes this is done via ars. If using the same length as extensions, what I have been doing lately is to create trusted extensions and forward them to the fax server. It allows me to know to whom it belongs via the name. I created the ars and a call rerouting always condition to whatever the digits I choose to use. My modified digit absorbs the leading value and inserts <F>

I just remove the DID entry so the incoming call number hits the system in full, then ARS for that number points at the internal SIP trunk.
