Restricting page groups

Seems like something that would come up, but I can't find any discussions on what I'm trying to do.

We've got a 3300 system (3 of them actually) and we have some 5485 music and paging units because our audio rack is a LOOOOONG way away from our PBX, and we want multiple zones.

All of that is actually pretty easy, but I'm having trouble with restricting them the way we want.

Lets say we have two different paging groups set up: 2000 and 2001.

I want the phones in one office to be able to direct page 2000, but not 2001. I want the phones in another office to be able to page 2001 but not 2000. Is that doable?

As the 2000 and 2001 are probably just extensions I would look at Interconnect Restrictions

Unfortunately, 2000 and 2001 in this example are page groups, not extensions. I can set up an interconnect restriction for the restrictions involved, but the page group seems to circumvent that.

Meanwhile, I can't see any way to assign an interconnect number to a page group.

When I set this kind of thing up, I use system speed calls for access. I also make the group if named in the telephone directory private. I then use ip trunking to allow or disallow my numbering between sites or if internal and retriction is needed it routes to a loopback trunk
