Eliminate "Call Me Back" or continue to TRADE calls?
« on: July 09, 2018, 02:15:02 PM »

I have a scenario that should be simple on the operation of Mitel phones (model 5340IP if it matters).

Scenario:

 - Phone A calls phone B and phone B answers (Call 1)
 - Phone B starts a consultation call to phone C and phone C answers (Call 2)
 - Phone B can now "TRADE" between Call 1 and Call 2
 - if Call 2 is active at phone B and phone C holds Call 2, phone B shows "Call Me Back" prompt and there does not seem to be any way to get back to Call 1 on phone B without dropping Call 2 - i.e., phone B can not continue to "TRADE" its calls until phone C unholds Call 2.

Is there some key sequence(s) on the phone B that will allow phone B to continue to "TRADE" its calls in this scenario?
Is it possible to disable the "Call Me Back" facility so that phone B can continue to "TRADE" its calls in this scenario?
Is there any other mechanism or configuration that would allow phone B to continue to "TRADE" its calls in this scenario regardless of what phone C does?
