Mivoice business console config settings
« on: July 19, 2018, 04:05:48 PM »
Hello. Need some help here..

So I have a receptionist that logs on and she can access the business console no problem. If I login using another windows account and try to open the mivoice but get the following error. the mivoice business console could not be started due to missing configuration settings

Anyone what I'm missing.

Hello,

Can you give more details about the console you are trying to access? I do manage a MiVoice Business system, but I'm not putting 2 and 2 together on what exactly your trying to access..., but I'm going to take a leap here and guess that you might want to check on the licensing of the user that you are getting the issue with, this can be part of the problem.

Can you try login in and accessing the same system form another computer?

I have attached what I can access as reception. Its basically the console that reception use for incoming calls.

Did you run the setup wizard under the other user?

The user must have admin rights. That's mandatory.

Then if you installed and selected something along the lines of "use folder of the user to store parameters" then of course it will not work for the other user.

Run the wizard again paying attention to this and it should work fine.
