JasonPetty,
So, you are going to setup Unified Messaging for just one person? Well that can take a bit to setup if you don't know all of the information for you E-Mail Server.
Go to System > E-Mail Gateway
Administrator E-Mail: voicemail@{domain.suffix}
E-Mail Address: voicemail@{domain.suffix}
E-Mail Real Name: Voice Mail
E-Mail SMTP Port: 25 [unencrypted], 486 [SSL], 587 [TLS]
E-Mail SMTP Server: FQDN of your E-Mail Server if it is hosted or the FQDN or IP Address if it is local.
E-Mail System: SMTP
E-Mail Username: voicemail@{domain.suffix}
Gateway Password: Whatever your standard is for the password, but unless you want to have to go into here and change it all of the time set it to not expire.
Make sure that you have the following filled out.
Go to System > IP Settings:
DNS Server Primary IP Address:
DNS Server Secondary IP Address:
DNS Search List:
Then you can go to the user's mailbox and set it up.
Go to Voice Processor > Devices > Mailboxes > {MB} > E-Mail Synchronization
E-Mail Synchronization Level: Forward and Copy
E-Mail Address for Voice Messages: User's E-Mail Address
This is not for Enhanced Integration as that can take a bit longer to setup. So, that means they will need to delete from their mailbox and then from the phone to get rid of the message.
Thanks,
TE
