Concealing the dialed number from the agent
« on: February 25, 2018, 07:33:53 PM »
Hi,

I'm fairly sure this is the right place for it.

We've got a hosted mitel system that we've been hacking away at and a business case where the number the agent is dialing should be concealed from them.

I've managed to get the `click to call` functionality to work from our system by a convoluted route of placing a call as that agent through the micc (employees/me/conversations) to a fixed extension, which then calls a second service to get the phone number to dial through a sip line - this results in the phone simply displaying the fixed extension.

However the desktop software is outsmarting me, the micollab client still ends up showing the final dialed number.

Is there maybe an easier way of doing this? And any way I can stop the micollab client from showing the final dialed number?

edit: there's nothing nefarious about this, we just don't trust our agents with our customer data and have gone to great efforts to obscure and log all access to PII.

So I found the setting in the client to disable that popup...

Problem is I need to disable it for all clients and prevent them re-enabling it...
