Headset options
« on: January 19, 2018, 12:31:16 PM »
I have a customer that wants to use the same bluetooth headset that he uses for his cell phone. We have gotten it to connect and he is able to answer calls but not initiate them. Also the noise cancellation is not functioning and there is a hum.

We also noticed in the bluetooth module settings that the software for the module is dated as 2011.

Is there any way to update the software to something newer?

This is a new system running 6.2

Question 2
We need a aftermarket headset for a 5220. What would be a good recommendation for those?

Plantronics cordless with HL10 lifter kit works very well... There are several options you could use, we use a lot of the CS510, CS530, and CS540, and all of them can be purchased as a kit with the HL10 lifter kit included. These also allow for the Plantronics Online Indicator Light to be used as well.
