MiCollab Contacts
« on: January 11, 2018, 07:13:40 AM »
Afternoon all,

Very simple one for you guys.

We use the MiCollab client version 7.3.0.104 and have a user whom has created some personal contacts within it.

We are now looking to move this user to another laptop and copy his personal contacts across. However i'm struggling to find a way to do this.

Can anyone help?

Kind regards
Simon

Not sure if this is server stored, but you could copy his old appdata directory to the new pc

Hi John,

We've tried copying the AppData directory but this didn't work.

I just had a quick play, it should be in the appdata

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mitel\UC\<micollab username>@<domain>
or %AppData%\Mitel\UC\<micollab username>@<domain>

you will want contactgroups.dat and contacts.dat as a minimum

Thank you for your reply.

We copied the whole UC folder onto the new machine and this copied the contacts that the user had manually added :)
