DID tracing/ call paths
« on: November 28, 2017, 12:29:57 PM »
I am new to the Mitel 3000 product. I have been tasked with finding a DID number for one of our agents.

This is a version 7.2 SP1 PR1. We also have a Contact center with no admin access.

We have a T1 connection.

Where would I find the list of DIDs in the system or find how calls move through the system?

Short answer, I would go under trunks/digital trunks and find a working T1 trunk. There is should show you the Trunk service assignment value, find this in trunk attributes and see what is absorbed/andor added and whether did table is being used.

This will help as the value may be in the did table under call handling/call routing at the bottom or it may match extension direct or be a system speed call. sytem speed call is under system whatever the second section.

I know there are others out there that could provide the full path, but I don't have anything open and usually don't read the headings any more

In the Controller, click on the A->Z button to display the controller forms in alphabetical mode.
Have a look at the Direct Inward Dialing form
Check the System Speed Dials form
(Check the Trunk Attributes form, as advised above).
Check the Ring Groups and Hunt Groups forms
Check the Telephone Directory
Check the Multiline Appearance Groups
Check Call Rerouting
Check Call Forwarding
