Is there a CRON equivalent on MiVoice ?
« on: November 07, 2017, 07:09:49 AM »
Hi all,

I want to set up a change to a system speed call (and back) on a weekly basis.

I used to do this by maintenance command CRON (well KRON, they were German) on the HiPath 4000, question is - is there a MiVoice equivalent ?

Or an easy way, can't see an option in scheduling ?

All thoughts and ideas more than welcome...

Kind Regs,
Rob.

Well, Yes and no.

There's no actual cron you can access but there is a schedule.
With that schedule you could upload a csv file to the server that would make the change to your speed dial.
I haven't done this myself, but I've heard of others that have.

Look in the help files for "scheduler"

If it's a current release, you might be able to use the Business Schedules to achieve your end goal. Instead of changing a speed call you could change a re-route for a station or group using that.

There's something I haven't played with yet.  Thanks, Ludah.
