MiCollab Auth & QR code expiry
« on: October 25, 2017, 01:11:24 PM »
MiCollab 8.106 with MXOne 6.3 SP1 HF2.

Is there a way to add aging to the Auth code and the QR code which gets generated automatically when we deploy a user.

Just like password ageing users have to change their profile auth codes every 30,60 or 90 days and the system should alert them to change it in advance using a self service portal or contact the administrator to redeploy their accounts?

Mobile Deployment credentials are only good for 7 days... or you do you mean for desktop client credentials?

Hi acejavelin,

I am able to use 20 days old auth code and the QR code on Android mobile and windows client.

Is there a setting I have to enable to let it expire after 7 days.

Hmm... I posted my answer from Tapatalk, I didn't realize the system you are tied too, as all my experience is with the traditional Mitel PBXs not the merged Aastra servers, although it wouldn't matter.

I was sure it was a week the tokens deployed to Mitel's ZTP server last, maybe it was 30 says, but I do recall having to redeploy a large number of clients a week or so after turn up of our last system because they had expired before the users could use them.

I don't remember setting anything specific for this. Sorry.
